How to check active viewpoint host in cluster environment?

You can have your viewpoint configured in a standalone environment or in a cluster environment.

If you have a cluster environment then you need to be aware of the active host before you plan to restart any services.
So, to check active viewpoint host in cluster environment you have to run below UNIX command (/etc/opt/teradata/viewpoint/distributed.cluster.properties) on any of the viewpoint nodes:

# cat /etc/opt/teradata/viewpoint/distributed.cluster.properties
#Mon, 07 Sep 2015 11:11:44 -0500
#
# Distributed viewpoint cluster properties.
#
active.database.host=10.4.10.11
standby.database.host=10.4.10.12
Her in the output you will see the active and standby host IP.
